Game client out of date: update available.

I was playing just an hour ago and when i start the game now it wont let me past the login screen, stating that i need to update. However, my launcher says the game is ready to play and doesn't download anything? Anyone got an idea how to fix this?

BOS will not launch. When I start IL-2 BOS using IL-2.exe, I hit the ENTER button and I get the error message “#10005 Please update your game: a new version is available”. When I execute the “launcher.exe” I get the BOS homescreen screen noting: ”Failed to Update”

Can someone help me determine what is wrong and why my BOS will not update to the newest version [1.004?] Incidentally, I purchased the Premium Edition on October 19, 2013...but I used it [flew] only a few times, and not since at least last March, if not longer ago. I had the same problem in March with an Update and at that time had to delete/uninstall the entire BOS, then downloaded and installed new version on 22 March. Must I do that again?

You have to download the new launcher. As said above, yours is out of date since a few weeks.

To be precise, you have to uninstall your game, erase the folder to avoid that any old files remain, get the new launcher and install the game. Everybody had to do this before the official release.
