heinkill Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 Mission Pack 1: 'Italy Attacks' is now available. For a preview of the mission pack, see the video below: Download here: https://app.box.com/s/tg6obpa2nzj9axb9bbe7 or http://airwarfare.com/sow/index.php/downloads/viewdownload/7-single-player-missions/554-malta-mission-pack-1 This mission pack is intended for use with the Battle for Malta mod, for full details of how to install the Malta Mod see the first post in this thread. http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3828542/Battle_4_Malta_Demo_available#Post3828542 The mission pack contains the first 9 of 25 missions, covering the attack on Malta from the arrival of the first two Hurricanes on the island, until the attack on Taranto in November 1940. ABOUT CHAPTER 1: ITALY ATTACKS On June 10 1940 Italian leader Mussolini declared war on Britain and within hours the first bombs fell on Malta. It was to become the most bombed location in history. More bombs fell on Malta during the seige, than fell on London during the entire Blitz. Opposing Italy's Regia Aeronautica airforce, were a handful of RAF Gladiators. Within a couple of weeks, the first Hurricanes arrived, 'hijacked' by the Island's air commander on their way to Egypt. This mission pack starts with the arrival of the first two Hurricanes on the island. Because the greatest variety of missions lies with the attackers, the default flyable aircraft will be Italian. The player can however switch to fly any aircraft in any mission. ABOUT THE MALTA MISSION PACKS These missions are designed as single missions, rather than campaigns, so that players have the opportunity: - to fly for either side - to fly any flyable aircraft in the mission (all flyable aircraft have their own mission briefings and targets) - change in game parameters for any mission, such as time of day, weather, aircraft types and numbers How? In the single missions menu click on any Malta mission. You will see a button to the right under the briefing, called 'CUSTOM' This screen enables you to customise a lot of parameters in the mission including: 1. Time of day 2. Weather 3. Cloud altitude 4. Check what aircraft is the default flyable (the pilot is highlighted) and change the aircraft if you wish (double click on the aircraft picture) or 5. Click on another flyable aircraft pilot picture to fly that aircraft instead and 6. When you are ready, FLY Enjoy! H

Cybermat47 Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Heinkill, I've noticed that the Regia Aeronautica Ju87s all have the default skin. Would you like me to quickly fix this, or was it intended?
