What happened to lod topic?

Is the fix to make lod or the view farther without blurry fix no longer working? There was a thread saying how to make the blurry go away and now its gone...

I think they are referring to a program that allowed you to have video settings back, but an update came through and put everyone back to pre-selects.

 LOD tweak as OP asked. If they plug the LOD change possibility in terrain.ini next week, I would not be surprised. I would be very surprised if they allowed it to stay, and even giving something else to tweak as well. Needs no conspiracy theory, at all.

I changed it to what is below and it is a stunning change.  One of the best features is the ability to see runways from much further away.  Makes getting home much easier!

 

C:\Program Files\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics\

Find and open the file called "terrain.ini" with notepad. It should only contain a few lines of text like below: adjust as you see them here.
