kiershar Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 So this happened to me : No loss of controls or anything, it just kept flying normaly. So is the yaw trimmer like an useless bone the bf109 elvoved with and is now no longer in use?
9./JG27golani79 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 (edited) The 109 doesn´t have a yaw trimmer at all - it only has adjustable stablizers which works like pitch trim. Edited November 9, 2014 by golani79
Dakpilot Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Looks like a coding error where the 109 is referencing a hit area from aircraft that have this feature, seeing as it has no influence because the 109 has no pilot adjustable yaw trim Nice to see that kind of damage on other aircraft with that trim feature though Perhaps this belongs in bug reports for the devs to add to their list Cheers dakpilot
kiershar Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 Yea probably. I'm guessing they took the lagg hitboxes since they were finished first then copypasted it and remoddeled them to fit bf109, then lowered hit points all around. Still very weird to receive damage to parts that are not on the plane!

Actually, adjustable stabilizers ARE pitch trim (and I will repeat again that I have no idea why the developers made a keyboard distinction between them).
