For reasons unknown to me, nothing happens anymore when I try to move around with my gunners. Yes, I hit "T", etc etc. They used to work; now they don't. I can still fire from a gunner position, but I can't pivot/traverse/elevate/depress the gun anywhere. Ideas?

TIA

Hit LShft + T to take control and T to use turret.

If it is still not working then maybe you unbound the mouse turret control (I did same, and have no idea which bindings they are so I had to default bindings and re-bind my HOTAS again...)

I suspect I unbounded the mouse. There must be a way to re-assign it without restoring all the defaults. If not, Devs, please take note.

same here, anyone know the commands for making the turret move? I don't mean the key, I mean the command.

Its the mouse from default, you can move the turret with the mouse after you hit T. Also related... the Ju88 has a bug that you cant man the turrets if the pilot window is open, and iirc if you open the stuka cannopy it also makes the gunner MG unmannable.

using TrackIR, I have the same issue as the OP.
I would like to move the mouse to move the gun but no one has said the actual command yet.

I've been unsuccessful in the IL-2 thus far.

All the commands are explained in detail in the manual. Provided you haven't changed your keybindings, they should work fine.

I think you can assign back your mouse in some settings file in the game directory. I'll take a look later :)

This is the same problem I have. I unsigned the mouse because when I was recording clips for videos I would knock it all the time with my hand and it was getting to be annoying.

Unfortunately I cannot remember how I did it or what the setting was

I think it's under Pilot head control.

Assign 'Bow pilot head vertically' to mouse Y

and

'Turn pilot head horizontally' to mouse X

This should make the mouse control the gun after you take over the gunners position.

In the Ju88 it is not only the bug with the open window. When flying BOM-campaign missions I have it again and again, that when I change position to reargunner or ventralgunner, I can not move the gun when taking control and I don`t fly with open window. When I change through the positions once more until i come back to the position where I wanted to move the gun, it works again.

Second problem, somewhen during the mission, when I change position to the reargunners, take control over the gun and change to iron sight view, I notice that I am not behind the left gun as I should be. Even when I then go out of iron sight view, leave control of the weapon and change side to the left gun, before I change back to pilots position, I will, when I go back to the gunners position enter it behind the right gun. And that stays then till the end of the mission.

Thankds I'll give that a go. There is no way I want to remap everything again :)

Thank you. This was the fix.
