peker Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Is there a way to fix (stop moving) the sight ? thanx
Lensman Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Could you be more descriptive of the problem please. Which aircraft and what symptom do you presume to be a problem? (I think I know what you are objecting to and it's a normal operational feature but I want to be sure.)
peker Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 I mean taht i don't want to move all time my head to look after the red sight i knew that this is the why how the sight working but in il2-1946 you can fix the sight that she will not move I hope that this time I was able to explain
Lensman Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 (edited) That's what I thought you meant but I wanted to check. You answered your own question: that's how the sight worked. It's a reflector sight and designed to allow the pilot to have a field of view on the targetting point. It would destroy the authenticity of it's simulation if it could be locked into place. If you use Track-IR then it really isn't a problem at all. Edited November 6, 2014 by Lensman
Jaeger55 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 The magic button you are looking for is the last key to be mapped under setting in head controls called....head unlinked cockpit LAlt+F1 What surprises me is how there is STILL no manual to this game. Exactly who are we marketing to? People new to flight sims?
Elbows Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 That's simply how collimator based optics work - including modern Aimpoints etc. The sights should be aligned/zero'ed the guns.
