Anywhere I can find a keyboard map?

I'd like to see how the controls on this look (how padlock works, is there an 'open cockpit' view, etc) before coughing up sixty or a hundred bucks.....

I don't know of any keyboard map, Thers is no open cockpit at this time,and i know of no padlock.

 

This game is going for more {as it was at the time} you are always in the cockpit,but you can select normal or expert mode

with normal you get exterior views.

If you like flight sims you'll love this!

You open cockpit with RAlt+c (I think), and there is a padlock system but I don't really use it...

Padlock work only in CUSTOM mode servers, or QM and Single Missions - not in SP Campaign.

 

If by "open cockpit view" you mean "No Cockpit View" Aka "Wonder Woman View" of il-2'46 = just see the crosshair in midle sky screen. NO.

Doesn't anyone bother to look at the 100s of videos of BoS out there? I would think a half an hour watching those on Youtube would answer most any casual customer questions at this late date.

Hard to convert a YT video to pdf and keep next to your keyboard though... I remember the days when flying games and sims actually came with informative manuals (Falcon anyone?) and keyboard reference cards. What happend to that concept?

It would have been nice if they had included a PDG of the key commands with the install.

I still have a lot of my old manuals too. Considering how expensive print media is these days, your could probably double the cost of a flight sim if it came with those types of manuals.

It comes from the french forum. It has been made for french speaking guys who don't understand english, but it will be useful to english readers because it's a bilingual document.

Some keys have been added a few months ago, and the PDF file has not been updated (it will be done soon). But, in the whole, it remains correct.
