Is it 5.1 sound goes correctly? and flicker in the menus

My sound system is one "Tritton Pro+ true 5.1 surround headset" using a external  Asus U3 (USB sound card), and connected via spdif using dolby digital live encoding.

 

In other sims, when I see to the left or to the right, the engine sound pass from one to other side of my sound system, but here not.

But for example the explosions on ground are positioned correctly (some times near ground I can hear), or one aircraft flying near me in one or other side, or before to start my engine I can hear other aircraft doing the engine start procedure to the left/right of my position correctly positioned.

 

Is it normal, or one bug in this sims or one bug in other sims?

 

The other problem it's with menus, when I pass the mouse icon over all menu text has fliker. I've reinstalled the sim in 3 times, and ever I have the same problem. Maybe the problem it's that I use CFX system, or maybe AMD drivers. I don't know
