Server joining issue

I can't join the Server "BOS EU Normal", i download the files and then after the loading bar reached 100% the server list appears again.

No error occurs.

Same here. After clicking on "join server", I see the loading screen with the bar in the bottom. When the bar is full I get thrown back to the list of servers. No error messages.

 

I have been able to log on to some other servers.

Same issue. Just purchased the game and was looking forward to playing online tonight, but, yeah... not happening

Hm. Now the "BOS EU Normal" server pops up in the list and then immediately disappears.

I know they are currently testing server optimizations right now (which is also why there are low population counts), which could be behind the problems you are having. Try the user supported servers and see if those work, I have personally also found the frame rate on the official servers to be a lot lower than the use made ones. In the past there have also been problems with servers showing low population numbers and still showing as full when trying to join them. They are not perfect but overall work OK. Don't despair

I got this just a minute ago here on the East Coast of America ..... so they must be doing some server work .....

Well, it started working earlier today. Must have been something server-side.

I had the same problem (back to server list) with LD-HeavyMetal yesterday (Nov. 9).

I joined BOS EU expert instead, where my framerate went down to unplayable levels. It was OK initially (I was alone on the server), with 60 fps, but after one hour and 20 people joined, it must have been down below 30 fps.

 

I later joined the DED expert attack on Aktuba server. One of the players was warping back and forth, and my framerate after 30min or so was down from 60 to 50, with quite a bit of stuttering. GPU usage wasn't 100%, it's frustrating to see a bad framerate and an underused GPU.

Same can't-join issue with the BoS EU Normal server again. Bloody hell.
