Its a joy to fly, jack of all trades master of none. I love it. I'll start... ehh just a fuel leak no big deal OK that could be a big deal! I seem to be missing something.. it counts as a landing right? Who needs a wing and a main gear! Well I am on the runway. Speed, height, direction..can I get back to you on that?

unreasonable Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Huh? That paintjob is still right there, flew in it today. Maybe scroll down a little in the new plane loadout menu? I like my Lagg too. It really is a decent fighter-bomber, but the bombs are better than the rockets, though less fun.

Chief Yeah Chief I bounce a lot too..or I come in way to slow and stall it. I have the Skin too Hawker! My squad mate doesn't have it but he did get the game after the cutoff date..sometime in November so he doesn't get the IL2 rear turret unless he unlocks it either. I thought at one time Jason said all EA (even after November) buyers would get the skins. I could be wrong though.

unreasonable Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Yesterday I took a single hit in the wing on an intercept which started a fuel leak very like the first screenshot in the OP. Having downed the He111 I turned to base, still with my fuel tanks more than half full. All my fuel ran out just as I came within a km of the base. My wheels down approach was about 100m short. Wish they could model the separate tanks. Not a huge priority, but in cases like this it I a big penalty.
1./KG4_Blackwolf Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 I lost part of my tail in that mission as well. I didn't get a shot of the landing but like you, out of gas and too far out to make it. its like your car running out of gas in sight of a gas station you just sigh and say crap.

Yakdriver Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 ah the rolling Waves cloud pattern. i LOVE that.The LaGG shots are spot on - bright as hell during the day, and moody and cold when the sun has set.I would have changed two things: landing light ON because it rox, and Canopy OPEN - security first!

Its a habit from flying the PTO with AG8 off carriers, open canopy for T/O and Landing. I like that shot, dark and gloomy. Can you hit anything with rockets? Its a toss up from me, I just have to spray and pray with them.

I second that - just managed to kill my DiD career pilot after a dozen missions by flying into a tree the first time I tried to use rockets on a convoy. The range is just too short. Two FAB 100s will deal with pretty much anything.

Only just seen this - talk about over-reaction! Of course I understand that flying into a tree is my own fault! The rockets, however, go have a very short range and are inaccurate, that is just a fact, which makes them not too useful for ground attacking a convoy, especially given the fact that nearly every road in this sim has two lanes of trees protecting it making low angle attacks difficult. My point is that bombs work better, given that you are attacking on your own (due to useless AI). If the entire flight was attacking with rockets the mission would be achievable, as it is you are better off making two bomb passes and then as many gun attacks as you need to hit your four targets, since your guns have much better ballistics than the rockets.

At The Yalta conference, All Leaders agreed that this sort of international Cooperation was the way to go. But they kept their Dumptruck callsigns, and the Term became a part of Russian culture.
