After bailing I would rather see the world from the parachute pilot

After bailing I would rather see the world from the parachuted pilot's point of view rather than following the plane down.  As  I slowly float down I can watch the battle going around me.   I would like that better.

It's pretty much the moment of greatest immersion.  A shame it reverts to a third person view.

European Air War had this, iirc. EAW also had little men running around one could shoot at.

Yeah you used to be able to stay in first person, was also rather dissapointed that that wasn't possible anymore recently.

Yes we had this in beginning early acces, developers did not like it so removed. I could not convince them that it was nice animated and could be put back.

Absolutely, the 3rd person bailout looks great, but gets pretty old about the time the chute opens at 5k meters.  Also, I'd seriously like to pull my own rip cord, or at least have it open at a lower altitude.  Begging for it.

Yes it would certainly be nice to have that back , along with maybe even custom graphics settings...
