So sad.   I know of a close friend being hit, some years ago, by his plane on control line competitons due to both a strong wind burst and a broken cable, all of a sudden. Some blood was lost, nothing close to a deadly event. But never heard of incidents like this lethal one when a RC aircraft was involved.
