FPS drops and jerky head tracking

I suppose I would need to put the game in the RAM every time I turn on the computer, or even when waking it from sleep mode?

It does so automatically at bootup.

I just bought Stalingrad and I'm having exactly the same problems described in this thread—and it's now over a year later. Common sense should tell all of us that there is something amiss with the game itself and NOT our computers. If a user has to go through all of the garbage described above (even to the point of buying other apps to aid in running the sim), then, again, doesn't common sense tell us that something is indeed wrong with Battle for Stalingrad?

So, I for one, don't care to hear any more "advice" from the makers and marketers of the game/sim about how to get THEIR problem resolved on MY computer. What I would like is either a full refund of the purchase price or a fix for their seriously flawed product. Until then, I'm going to post this on all discussion groups that I can find, so that prospective purchasers will know the facts before they spend their hard-earned money on a product that never should have been released. (Yes, I've communicated with the company, and they were no help at all.)

I'm experiencing the same issue. Specs are: X99, 5820K (6 cores @4.4Ghz), 290X, 16Gb, game is on SSD.

Some people don't notice it but it very noticable if you watch 60fps video in x0.25 speed. Frame pace isn't that smooth as in other games.

Just a little comparision of BoS and RoF running on my system:

BoS 480p, Balanced preset, Antialiasing is OFF. Using that track: https://app.box.com/s/nhinbd72lg5renuyrok9xk4bir3abf06

(it doesn't matter if I set 480p or 1440p. Chart will look the same way)

RoF 1080p everything Ultra/ON (except Super AA). Flying 5x5 with bots.

would be nice if anyone can confirm if Gsync monitor improves the smoothness.
