zippo183251 Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 The game overfills my monitor screen to the extent that i cannot see the menus on either side. How can I reduce the size to fit the screen. I cannot see the screen resolution menu either. Cheers.
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 (edited) seems to me you have the wrong scaling setting in your video control panel set, to either full aspect or aspect ratio. check your desk top settings. if you know how. cant really help you if you don't post your machines information? zippo183251 Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 Thanks for your reply 71st Mastiff. My computer is well up to the task of playing the game as I already play R.O.F and C.L.O.D on it.Natural Screen Resolution is 1920/1200. There is probably a simple answer somewhere.Any more obs would be appreciated. Cheers.

The only place I've found to tell BoS what resolution to run is under the settings tab in the launcher (also where you tell it to run full screen). Have you checked there to see if maybe something got reset with an update to the wrong resolution? I'm assuming you've also checked your video driver settings to make sure they didn't get reset with a driver update or something? That's one bug I haven't encountered with BoS yet so I'm just guessing at this point. Hope you get it sorted. It would still probably help if you would post your specs, at least your video card/driver info - someone might have encountered something related to a particular card or driver and that might help them realize the connection.
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I think he running in another resolution other than desk top. other than native. the only way to get over resolution is more than like running at 1080p or I, and that wont fit in a non native 1080i or p set up.
zippo183251 Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 Just to let you know, I finally sorted the problem - Resolution was o.k., but in order to make text clearer when reading online newspapers etc I had increased the size of text to 150 (where it said "make text and other items larger or smaller" This meant that the menu in il2 overflowed the page so I could not read the list. I reduced the size of text to 100 and the menu was contained within the page and I could read all the items . Developers please note, - I do not get this problem in Cliffs of Dover, or Rise of Flight. At this stage I would say that the simulation has potential but keep developing it. Cheers.
