[Career Suggestion] Pilot profiles

Im having a good time flying SP so far and i think the missions have alot of potential.

 

But what i think would be even better is to have the option to create a pilot profile for example a fixed aircraft. With that aircraft you play the whole campaign.

Because atm i have played with different aircraft on both sides and while doing this being at the third part i just dont feel excited.

 

I wanna be involved on one of the sides. Being either Russian or German but right now i have no strings to either of those.

 

Im like i wanna create Hans Rudel pilot and be a Stuka pilot and play a few missions into the campaign. Take a break or whatever and later in start the game i wanna fly my russian pilot Igor Laggsky the third the fighter pilot.

 

Get my feeling?

In other words: You want a career mode.

 

So do I, but that was not what the devs set out to create.

I agree with you, it's a shame not to have a Mode Careers .

I'd like to see stats displayed per aircraft.  It would also be nice to be able to create profiles where the stats start at zero for each,  similar to a trip meter on your odometer.  That would go a long way toward being able to track a "career", even if just for your own pilot profiles.

I am trying to do all the campaign or better said campaigns with only one type of plane and it is perfectly possible if you fly only the type  of missions the plane is capable of!

Career mode would have been vastly preferred to the way they set up BoS currently.

Such an arrangement would definitely be an improvement. I haven't enjoyed the current campaign system. I've plowed through far enough to unlock a number of skins or weapon options that I thought essential, but I feel no compulsion to play it for its own sake.

I think that in this single player campaign the devs have done what they could do in a very short time. I am sure that all this will evolve...

I am enjoying it (albeit a mission generator) at level 9.  Seems like it gets better as it goes. 

 

I think the lower levels were much easier, and less thrilling.  What pilot level are you on?

Yes it is better when pilot level is higher. I think its not good solution to tie campaign difficulty level to pilot level. Just a simple option to choose campaign difficulty would be better. I dont want to play extremely easy missions at the start of the campaign.

If there ever will be reset profile option or new ones hopefully I can choose not to reset pilot level.

This seems like a good idea, and I wouldn't think it was hard to implement for our 777 guys.
