I don't know if thoses points has already been answered but i don't have really time to check everywhere on the forum...

 

 

1- Is there self-sealing fuel tanks in BoS ??
I am a bit surprised that all the planes even german ones lose all their fuel when being hit to fuel tanks.


2- Did 109 and 190 really never overheat in winter conditions on Eastern front ? In game, they NEVER overheat even with manual closed radiator...


3- Landing gear can be out at great speed like 600/700 km/h without breaking... Is it normal ?


4- The Stuka cockpit light is ridiculous on night mission. It's quite hard to read something on instrument

5- Hans-Ulrich Rudel in his StuKa could fire the 37mm shell one by one. Can we get such option to save those precious shell ?

 

 

6- As of now in the game, you can give orders to AI gunners even in single seat fighter. And they will reply you like if you are in a bomber...

 

 

7- In the first Il-2, we could select firing with 2 or 4 cannons in the Fw-190 (or Bf-109 with gunpods) but not in BoS

1. Good question, I'm not sure though.

 

2. Play in Expert mode and they will.

 

3. They break off in Expert mode.

 

4. Turn the light off so you can see your instruments.

 

5. I was asking this myself, I hope it gets implemented. Shooting 2 at the same time is a waste of ammo, and probably is not healthy for your aircraft.

 

6. Don't call the AI gunner commands if yiu don't have a gunner.

 

7. These guys didn't make the original, but hopefully that can be added as well.

2- I play only in expert mode and i never noticed any overheat in 109/190. The 190 doesn't even have any radiator...

1. I don't think so. Haven't found a way to turn off the fire on He-111 too.

 

2. They won't overheat unless you fly under 1.3ata

 

3. It's not modeled as far as I know (same for flaps)

This has to be a joke? No offense, but anyone who says they haven't blown their engine in a 109/190 while in Expert mode has to be lying.

You only blow your Engine because of that timer which starts when you go full power, if you go full power for to long your engine will blow, heat has nothing to do with it.

 

edit says: I mean 109 and 190, russian planes overheat easy and they dont have a emergency power setting i think so they will only blow because of heat!

Loose your coolant. You will overheat.

Loose oil and you'll loose your engine.

Take some hits to the fuel tank and you'll run out of fuel.

Receive engine damage .....Ya know.

We dont talk about damaged Aircrafts, we talk about overheating in 109/190 in general!

I can confirm that the bf109 never overheat with closed rads. Same with the fw190 but it doesn't really have any rads controls.

I can't say for the German side but Mother Russia will heat you up if you don't pay attention to your Rad's!

 I never overheat in Bf109G-2, radiators on Auto. It is not all about flying full throttle
