Cybermat47 Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 OK, I've noticed some strange things about this forum. First off: why can't I edit the first post of a thread I started?! This is really, REALLY annoying for my virtual squadron page, because I can't update the roster or anything else! That's seriously annoying. Also, where are the style controls?! You can't click a button to generate the italic or bold style, meaning you have to put the italic code thingy in by hand, which is very time consuming, meaning that anybody new here WILL USE CAPS AND LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT. Is there any way that you can change these things 777/1C?
FuriousMeow Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 You mean like the attached screenshot? Because that's from this forum.

JtD Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Still, the edit limitations in particular for starting posts are very annoying. There's no way to produce a decent catalog (virtual squadrons in this case, but could be anything).

Yes, sometimes you can made a mistake or need improve, explain better... please, lets fix this litle details.
Zak Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Edit limitations are basically a simple safety feature that prevents violations of rules of conduct. Nevertheless we may reconsider them when/if we're sure that it's not necessary.
