Missions completed to open unlocks

Hi All. I have completed all the campaigns flying intercept/escort/and ground attack operating German and Russian planes and have accumulated medals, skins, and standard armament. But now that standard armament is all i'v got to fly with in the extended mission list, no problems with Sturmovik [ heavy caliber cannons/bombs/rockets ] but i still have not been able to unlock 2x20 MG 15/20 pods Me 109's

 

I have gone back into campaigns and repeatedly flown successful missions with the Me 109, I'm getting medals and skins but no pods ? is it a question of keep on flying and hope they will turn up ?

Check your progress under 'profile' in the main menu. The gun pods are among the last unlocks for both 109s.

 

Yep, the unlock system doesn't really belong in a flight sim, but take it for what it is and enjoy the missions (which are quite good) and multiplayer (which is also good and getting better as 3rd parties build ever more advanced missions)

Note: XP is only awarded for playing campaign, not MP or quick missions.

Thanks. Gun pods or not, I'm still enjoying every mission, the Dev team should be congratulated.

taffy2jeffmorgan, as a founder you should have 20mm wing guns for 109f already... so you can skip the 15mm guns and be done with unlocking Friedrich after 1/3 unlock track (all bombs, headrests, windscreens etc). Remember to take them on intercept/ ground attack missions, too. I'm starting to really appreciate the "gift" of having these unlocked.
