Does Camera: head-unlinked cockpit command work?

In my recorded tracks, if pause I TrackIR and enter the Camera: head-unlinked cockpit command L_Alt+F1 (default), it does not allow me to look the cockpit with my mouse. This works in Rise of Flight recorded tracks but not Battle of Stalingrad.

 

I cannot remember if this worked in previous updates. Can someone confirm they experience the same behavior with the Camera: head-unlinked cockpit command? I would like to confirm if it's a bug or a problem with a setting in my game setup.
