Understanding the oil and radiator commands in BOS, they are different for German and USSR planes.

It is important to understand this as the key bindings or ACTIONS are not clear and two or mislabeled (oil is repeated).

At the moment all I can do is post a pic but later I will provide a link from Google docs or something like that.

The oil / water radiator command that can be mapped to axis works for Ju-87 as well as Soviet planes (and it's great help when divie bombing in it).

"I do the water but not enough axis to include the oil."

You can use the same axis for both (water and oil) by include a modifier (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Win - left or right) on the axis for the second function (e.g. oil) - if find this practice

Uriah-

Not sure what your reason was to start a whole new thread on this topic?

My advice to you is to start the game, pick a plane and put it on the runway.

Have your joystick/ rudder/ throttle etc programming software running in the back ground so you can program "on the fly" by Alt Tabbing in and out of BoS.

Then just experiment and observe.

There are, unfortunately, different key bindings that do the same thing on different planes. Why the devs chose to approach things this way I cannnot say- but get in there, play with it, and you will quickly become familiar with how the commands work.

You may wish to purchase a Saitek Throttle quadrant, as I did. It will provide you with three additional axes and six addditional buttons, all programmable, for about $50.00.  Well worth the money.

The key commands in BoS are somewhat odd, and not always intuitive. I followed the advice I gave you above and am experiencing no difficulties with CEM whatsover- but I did have to invest the time to answer some questions for myself out on the virtual flightline.  ;)

Experience is the best teacher.

Good luck!

True Sokol1, but then I actually look at the physical lever (usually on the CH Throttle Quadrant) as a clue to what I have done.

To others, I think I have made the spread sheet sharable.

Chris, I did the very thing you suggested and did so with every plane in the game.  It was very instructive.  The topic is a different focus (in my eyes anyway) but did indeed come out of the first post.
