Since this is by far my favorite plane and the reason I bought IL2 1946.

Can we get some news; more screen shots in action?

ShKAS armed rear gunner

 

NS 37 anti tank guns

Zak, can we see the IL2 as it is to date, as we have seen the 109 and the Yak?

in recent GamesCom videos and pictuers you see flying IL2, by Yak im guessing you mean LaGG, if they do next live stream i would expect to see IL2 in it

Looking good... I'm busy flying the old IL2 version for some familiarization again, learning the cockpit layout, and running through the pilots notes.

Also there wont (shouldnt) be NS-37s, those only appeared in 1943. The 37mm cannon available back then was the Sh-37 which proved to be a total failure, so much that the design team was executed...

I thought it was Taubin who was executed? I don't think he was involved with the design of the Sh-37. I think Shpitalny lived well past the war's end and had a big pile of medals for his efforts. The Sh-37 was certainly a failure as a design though.
