you guys give this a try also.

Interesting - I saw the above and decided to give it a try.  I turned off DSR again (worked weird in RoF anyway, and I couldn't find a way in nVidia Control Panel to use DSR on a per-program basis - only seems to be available in the global settings), unticked full screen in BoS, and set it to full screen in nVidia Control Panel as noted above.

Made it all the way back to base and escaped out of the mission with no problem.  First time today in about 6 or 7 missions :)

Of course, although it showed me receiving 120 EXP for the mission, my profile page failed to update with any new EXP, so that confirms what some other folks were reporting today.  But at least it didn't CTD this time.

SO, maybe there is some connection with "full screen" in some fashion.  Thanks for the tip!  More testing tomorrow.

yes you make the DSR setting, but leave it available as in checked in the boxs. you keep your native settings on desk top, the DSR setting are made available in your graphics setting in the game as a higher resolution. you pick the higher resolution in the game, and it gets down sampled.

OK, but I'm a little unclear about all the steps you're stating above.  The first time I turned on DSR, I found that I had to check the "full screen" box in the BoS launcher or otherwise the menu screens in BoS spilled over the edges of the screen.  And checking the "full screen" box in the BoS launcher has been noted in some other thread/post as a possible issue with some of the Esc key/CTD problems (which may have been a reason I was getting so many CTDs yesterday given that I had the "full screen" box checked in the BoS launcher due to running DSR).

When I get a chance later tonight, I'm going to test DSR again with the "full screen" setting ticked in the nVidia Control Panel as you posted above, instead of in the BoS launcher, and see if DSR still works in BoS that way.  I've also posted a question for Pat Wilson over on the RoF forums, to see if he or someone can explain how to deal with the resolution issue DSR was causing in PWCG.

I know your full screen checked in NVIDA, but you need to check the Full screen option in BOS as well, you should not have any issues with this. but if you do please post here.

Nope, doesn't work for me.  Still crashes "stopped working" on exiting sim.

Yeah - I tested that and the screens in BoS were spilling over the edge again without full screen checked in the BoS launcher.  Probably just need to wait till they fix whatever bug fest is going on at the moment - kinda had to tell anything about what might or might not work when stability in general has really gone to hell lately.

1.005 no fix yet.  It crashes every time I change settings and it restarts also.

Strange - im without CTD after 1.005. Try turn off "Seed when dawnloaded" in Launcher Settings. Supposedly it helps.

Nope doesn't help.  Still crashing on exit every single time.  Latest patch no help and support no help.

Hmmmm... Maybe you need new clear install again.

Done that several times.  Cleaned all traces in registry too.  No joy.

Support only answer once to ask me to do some basic stuff and then they stop responding too.  I'm getting to the point of dumping this all together.

Got my first couple of these today, after quite a while without them.  Perhaps not coincidentally, things had been so stable lately that I decided to start testing some new driver settings and stuff (updated to newest nVidia drivers last night).  So, I was running with my FPS and GPU overlays on, and with DSR on again.  Things were looking very good graphically, but seem to have gotten unstable again.  Guess I'll turn off the overlays and try a few more tests to see if the problems recur.

I found it!  Both BOS and ROF do not like CHStart.exe as a startup program.  This should be fixed as it is a joystick/hardware software.
