SharpeXB Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 It would be a great feature to allow the player to save and reload a mission in progress. Especially in WWII compared to RoF the missions are longer and many players who prefer more realism, taking off, navigating and landing, but don't have hours to devote at one time would certainly appreciate the feature.
Ralith Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 As someone who is interested in the prospect of playing through full takeoff/landing and navigational procedures but is not often posessed of large swathes of free time, I agree that this would be very nice to have. In particular, if a mission is proving to be especially challenging, having to repeatedly restart from base would be very frustrating and wasteful of time.
Eagle-OnePirabee Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Good thoughts. I'm hoping too it will be like the save feature in MS Flightsim where a player can log off but later return to the same aircraft and circumstance as at the time of logging off. In BOS, I would suggest this should apply only to a parked aircraft rather than if the player logged off while in the air. Good thoughts. limeymcscrote Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 It would be good to have campaign missions saved locally in case of a network disconnect. In Rise of Flight I have lost progress after finishing a flight because I was disconnected before the end. It would be nice to be able to complete the mission and then have the stats uploaded to the server when network connection is re-established. It would also be cool to be able to save a current campaign/career mission as a single mission to play again later.
