Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS

I'm wondering if anyone uses this stick if yes do you have a setup for it. I bought mine for DCS World great stick and throttle.

Yes I've been using the warthog with this sim and it is working out well.   I'm still tweaking the setup as I have limited flight time.   I also use Saitek Pro pedals and a custom trim box with 6 knobs and 10 push buttons.  

 

Attached is my Warthog setup.  Just change the extension from txt to fcf (Will not allow uploading of fcf files)

An .fcf file is a GUI user created profile in the TARGET software for the Warthog, you need the TARGET software which can be downloaded from TM to manipulate/create these profiles. One can use either the basic or advanced option in TARGET to work with these files, advanced allows you to do things like set modifiers/layers.

Once you have a profle ( fcf file) set to your liking, you then run the profile which puts the controllers in " virtual mode", and then launch the game.

 

Alternatively there are .tmc files as well, which are generated using the more advanced Script Editor in TARGET. Much more complex and a much steeper learning curve, but the power of using the script editor is immense.
