Help needed PE2 and IL2 online

Want to try PE2, never flown it before

 

Start in BoS Eu normal server. Pick airfield, pick PE2. No plane setup options.

 

Unlike all other aircraft PE2 starts on runway with engines off. Message 'out of fuel'. E key causes engine startup and then both engines shut down as they would if no fuel?

 

Can see no other PE2s in game.

 

IL2

 

Have unlocked several weapons , rear gunner and skins in SP but there is no option in MP to setup plane to use them, can only fly default, no rockets, bombs, skins anything?

 

I like blowin stuff up, so this leaves me with only German planes...Heinkel and Stuka are fine.

Honestly, this isn't a plane you will be able to fly effectively or really at all in a normal server as they are more of a deathmatch setup at the moment with nothing to actually blow up.. Try the SYN server and you'll have plenty of targets and the ability to choose your setup.

make sure your mixture is on..

Put your throttle to about 15%, and make sure your engines are mixed at 70-80%.

There should be the option in multiplayer, on the left side in the aircraft setup, you'll see a little bar that says "modifications".  Either that, or play in the Syndicate server.

Pe-2 in SP is the worst experience I've had with this game :/ But I love the plane so much, I'm not giving up.

I agree, not much use in the regular servers.
