Have not spent very much time with the sim at all, but have just been having a little go with the campaign and so far I like it.  

 

I know there is tons of discussion about unlocks, etc, that is hotly contested but I cant say it is bothering me.

 

Some of the things I like are the weather looks very good, nice clouds and lighting, gives a real nice atmosphere. It looks cold out there! Makes you wonder how tough it must have been flying and fighting in those conditions.  

 

I find it hard shooting down the aircraft so need lots of practice but I think the devs have done a great job with this so far. Thumbs up!

 

One thing I noticed not so good was escorting aircraft seem to be rolling from one side to another constantly, with their ailerons working overtime, looks a bit silly and hopefully will get fixed.

yep, i am also having a hell of a great time flying in campaign mode!

 

rendering of weather, and effects, and of scenery and aircraft overall is superb, better than anything i have used before, in il2 bos, which certainly adds to the "sensation of being there", but it is on pair with the quality of the physics modeling, not only flight dynamics!
