I think this is great News for the folks that were putting off the SP Campaign until after the 'wipe' that was to coincide with the release of BoS. Thanks!

Please clarify this. did you cancel the wipe you planed for tomorow, or you canceled the wipe you said will come before the official release? I see people getting excited and just want to make sure this is clear.

But I have gone out of my way and attacked a bit of targets off mission as well if the ammo/fuel would let me. Maybe these things give awards? I don't know. Anyway, A.I. Göring seems to be pleased with my flying:p

I am not having any trouble taking off.....It's the wingman spinning around all over the runway, then staying there on runway and you can't get clearance to land after returning from mission.. when they do Take off most of the time there just along for the ride.. The won't engage. 190 only AI Have Had Problems With...

Lensman Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 One of the great benefits of using IL2-BOS over the last few months has been the rock solid stability. In the last 2 weeks that has gone and again tonight I got a CTD when clicking on (in this case) 'Cancel Mission' after a bail out. It's usually Finish or Cancel mission in Campaign that does it and it's happening a lot now.

Had two or three other missions where I did not hit the target, but when I went through the exit waypoint there was no prompt to end the mission and even after landing at the designated airfield there was only an option to Abort Mission. Finally got the 1000kg bomb I was after. Ain't no one taking this away from me. Just for the record, yes, this was as much of a pain in the butt as I thought it would be.

Smoke domes above cities and villages follow the wind now in Campaign;3. Temperature and atmosphere pressure now vary depending on the date in Campaign;4. New info in Campaign briefings: target altitude, altitude in the target zone for bombers, airfield altitude, temperature, atmosphere pressure;5. Campaign mission "Escort attack planes" a player now has to convoy them to the very exit point;6. Main game screen interface finalized;7. Distance of reaction increased for AI cover planes;8. AI won't turn on the lights on landing in day-time;9. AI will use nav light in night missions;10. Fixed a random issue that caused AI planes using nav light in day-time;11. FW 190 A-3 climb rate fix that wasn't deployed with the previous update should be working now;12. Temporary engine modes got more tuning;13. Special engine modes are now shown in technochat;14. Technochat now shows messages about the state of temporary engine modes;15. The issue with severe performance drop in multiplayer (including slowing time, etc.) was fixed;16. Performance improved for dserver;17. Static planes destroyed with machine guns should now be correctly added to score;18. Random crashes and freezes in campaign missions fixed. 10
