shelm Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Hi people I've been eager to getting this game started so i've played the british campain and let the Auto pilot start and land. But it feels like i'm cheating not doing it by myself, to start and land is part of the sturmovik challange in my oppinion. So i need help to get the gas regulator working, i've been in to options and i've set the Power option in Axis to be this button...but when i'm playing i can either press W for full power or ( i ) to shut the engine off. I cant adjust to have like..75% engine power. If anyone have any clue what wronge i'm doing or what settings i need to correctly adjust i would be very thankfull! Cheers!
Sokol1 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Go to Controls, find the Engine Controls, then "Engines Throttle Control" click on one of three box until see "Add New Action". Move the throttle axis in you joystick - that thing in base - back and forth some times until appear a name in the box, "joy0_axis_#" Hit APPLY. Then test the response in game, and if necessary go back in this screen and click on "invert" arrow.

Still not working...i followed your instructions but it doesnt work, i twist my gas pedal back and forth wich is the onely ways, but it doesnt even show up as alternative..I checked in bothe ``keys`` and ``axis`` nada. And when i click to add a new action nothing happens, i've tried to select an empty bar and then click the ``add`` but nothing so far.. I'm starting to think it's something wronge with my consol..
BzKBravoZulu Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) Are you playing il2 Battle of Stalingrad??? What British Campaign? I have a 3D Pro and I am sure myself and others can help you, but your post makes no sense. In IL2 BOS there are no separate "Keys" & "Axis's" they are all in one place - in the controls menu. Twisting your gas pedal? - on a 3D PRO the only thing that can be twisted is the rudder... Which if you assign that rudder axis to the throttle then it should always snap back to 50% power. Which is not desirable. I am confused. If you can take a screenshot of the input page that is giving you hassles and post it here, we can then better see what your trauma is.
