indiaciki Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 They are both great. Any comparision to FM (not he swithes etc). I Flew the P51 just a couple of times, It's much easier to land.
FZG_Merlin Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) I don't think it's easier to land. It certainly is more difficult to take off. I personally feel like the P-51 FM is more accurate, or at least feel more real at the moment. In the DCS P-51 I really feel like I'm flying something heavy and powerfull. The planes in BOS not as much, at the moment. That being said, I think the issue with the planes in BoS are the suspensions, or better, the thing that should soften the suspension effect (don't know the word in English, amortisseurs in French) DAMPER. That's the word. The planes in BoS bounce way too much, and always, if you don't do a perfect 3 point landing. And with some planes, it should not be the case. The Fw-190 must be landed on mains, IRL otherwise it can bounce... In BoS. You can't land the 190 on mains or it will bounce. It's the opposite of what happens IRL. They really should fix those suspensions/dampers and we should be fine though. Those FM in BoS need fine tuning, but they are great. Edited October 11, 2014 by FZG_Immel 1
indiaciki Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) Yes. The P51 is very hard to take off. More easy to taxi. And I'm sure the BOS aircraft bounce way too much. Totally exaggarated. They'l need to work on this. Edited October 11, 2014 by indiaciki 1
