=69.GIAP=Shvak Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Okay I do not know if this is a bug or on purpose... When you press the "F" key by default the flaps are lowered. When you press the "Shift" and "F" keys together the flaps are raised. The problem is if you release the "Shift" key a split second before you release the "F" key the flaps once again are lowered. This is indicated on the green techno detail stuff on the right hand of the GUI ( I am not sure whether the flaps actually lower or it is just a glitch with GUI.) To avoid this I end up holding the "Shift" key in longer than the "F" It is a small thing but highly annoying.
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 That is the way it works. It is: Shift down (hold), F down, F release, Shift release. This is true of all two key combinations. Pressing Shift and F and releasing at the same time will not work. If you are inputting the "Shift F" into a joystick or throttle software for a button, you must put a pause of 25 or 50 milliseconds between the two in order to have it work.
dburne Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Yep I have to program a delay into my Warthog software for those key combinations, for them to work properly.
Sokol1 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Since 2001: F = Flaps Up V = Flaps Down Fortunatelly I can define (at least until now) how use keys for commands.
A_S Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 I removed the "L" in the title and it cracked me up
JG1_Labroisse Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 This sim seems to be very sensitive (unsensitive?) to key delay. I can't program delays into my Logitech gamepad, and the game will just not recognize shift/ctrl/alt key combinations as a result. Joystick is ok, can set delay there, and keyboard works, but not the gamepad. Very frustrating.
=SqSq=Sulaco Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Same thing happens with the tail wheel lock, can't count how many times I've raised my landing gear while lining up for takeoff...
