Flap on a dial (again)

so flying the lagg, and clearly you can assign keys and punch in 1% at a time to put the flaps up or down.. why can't I assign to a dial? Its annoying.

This has been discussed and asked about many times, ever since they added trim to the Russian planes, with 0 responses.

 

I don't think they will change it now, and I don't think they care.

Presumably so it makes it more difficult to use so that it can't be misused. The LaGG 3's, along with others, had a notoriously unreliable hydraulic system. Maybe if folks want to use it as an added extra for combat they should also have to put up with hydraulic failure from time to time. Dropped gear, immobile flaps etc.
