II./JG27_Rich Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 (edited) A lot of IL-2 people have heard this, there a a few up on youtube but for those people who haven't it's quite an eye opener. One, how much quieter it is than you would expect. Probably due to the low exhaust stacks because of the inverted V 12. Two, how load the wind is in his dives. This 109 had one of those bumpy landings in 1997 and was restored to flying condition as said in the end of the Documentary CD One Summer - Two Messerschmitts but isn't flown anymore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50JXKxMLyUc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBrZHUif9Ac Edited August 24, 2013 by Richie
Volkoff Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) Thank you for your recordings, Richie! Another lovely recording of a great sounding BF. 109 is the BF. 109 F4 from IL2 BOS. I have heard that a few IL2 BOS players may be interested in sim flying this ride, yes? Here is a recording of the in cockpit sound from the pre- Alpha IL2 BOS BF. 109 F4. It sounds incredible! Enjoy! MJ Edited August 27, 2013 by =69.GIAP=MIKHA

MineFewer Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 The last thing to worry about is sound. Firing the Spandaus in RoF, hearing the mettaliic hammering makes my day every time.
