So do I have to upload pics to some picture site to be able to add them to a post here?

I see the icon here for picture but you have to put in a URL for it.  I really don't want to bother uploading a pic to some other site just to put it in a post here.  Is there a better way?

In reply click "more reply options" bottom right

 

then at bottom left of reply box is "attach files" and "choose files" click and browse from your PC

lets test this...

looks like it just attaches at the bottom of the post, not in the post.

After you have uploaded the picture and you have the thumbnail showing, on the right side of the thumbnail bar is "add to post" click that to put it where the "cursor" is in the reply box

 

you can then add it where you like in your post..or it will auto go to the bottom
