Currently there is no doubt of the power of creation and improvement of communities MODs for many play is as important as being able to customize and perform.

For that reason they would ask that sounds, effects, texture maps, 3D parts ... what is possible, it is very important for this part of the community and will help the game
   further success.

Have a look through the 9 pages of Mods for ROF to get an idea of what is being done there

There are Mapmods, cockpit mods, AI mods, effect mods, object mods, sound mods, graphic mods etc.,

Also is already built in Mods on/off (Mod activator) included in the standard game release.

And official Mods

I am sure BOS will be the same :)

But that are mods from users or options from 777studio? A community can do a big list...

The community makes them, I believe. Anyone confirm that?

All community mods, and the ones on the "official" Mod site are community mods with official blessing/stamp of approval, what is really pleasing to see is the acceptance of "community mods" by the developers in

having a built in 'Mod activator' from the start, a simple MODS on off switch so you can join which ever type of server you prefer.

This bodes well for BOS, with a much larger potential WWII fanbase I am sure more Modders will create some great content, obviously not new Aircraft as that is where the revenue is :)  but outside of A/C there

is huge scope
