Hello,

You guys helped me with setting up the controls (who would guess that you would have to apply Accept 2 times for each control) Now i have a major issue with the view in the plane  I cannot change the view from looking from behind the pilot. i have to look up as far as i can just to look forward in the plane. I have no idea how to solve this issue? any ideas on what i have done.

you pressed the F10 button which is keybinded in the game for setting the FOV; it is also a key bind used in track ir to reset view, so you need to re-key bind the hot key setting in Track ir. I use Rshift-INS; RShift-HOME; and Rshift-Page up.

Hi Petrovsky

Why do you need to hit Accept two times for each control? I don't.

Anyway, let's look at your question. It sounds like you pushed F10 whilst in-game. That would have bound whichever direction you were looking in as your default view (assuming you hadn't pushed any hat switches etc).

The F10 key is very handy as it allows you to set particular views. For example, if I push my joystick hat-switch down, by default I see directly behind my plane. I find this unrealistic, so I use the mouse to move the iew around until I'm looking at the instrument panel. Then I hit F10 and Voila! Next time I pull the hat-switch down, I automatically jump to that view.

With TrackIR I guess there is something similar at work.

You can rebind the shortcuts for your actions in this section:

You may also want to adjust the camera settings in main menu or by pressing esc while on airfield.

I personally turn down the setting under {pan movement} in camera in options menu- movement and rotation inertia and speed those seem to mess with my trackir5 settings.
