IvanDolvich Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Hi together. I have my trim maped to buttons on the keyboard (yaw) and the pitch and ailerons to the hatswitch. If I press the button or use the switch the trim goes up or down a few percentages. Is it possible to make it just go up 1% when you press the button/switch shortly? Another thing i recognized was that the percentage-steps on the keyboard are even larger. 1
Sokol1 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I think no, the trim course is divided in ~12~15 keypress (varies slight depend on how fast you press the key). I test this with Encoder (on BU0836), that tuned clockwire press one button, and turned anti-clockwire press another, similar to mouse scroll steeps. Sometimes a single "steep" is more than desired.
dburne Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 (edited) They really should allow a user to fine tune the trim adjustments, if nothing else via a .cfg file, but I am pretty sure the odds of them ever doing that are slim to none... For this reason, I programmed my trim through my stick's software, where I can adjust the distance it moves per each button press, and have it tuned to my preference. I do not use the game's trim functions. Of course they could also give us the ability to assign trim to an axis as well, but ... Edited September 28, 2014 by dburnette 2
