When selecting a multiple aircraft engagement there is currently no setting to have zero enemy aircraft.  Both ROF and IL2 1946 had this option.  Having this allows for spawning against multiple "friendly" aircraft that will not maneuver nor shoot back for gunnery practice purposes.

 

Also, currently the Unlimited Ammo selection does not work.

 

Finally, after the end of each run, the type of mission resets to Scramble instead of defaulting to the previous setting.

Select only one, with empty guns and/or zero ~1% fuel.

Unlimited ammo for guns is completely different to how it works with bombs/rockets where they "recharge" instantly. With guns/cannons you have to press the "reload all guns" command and wait a few seconds, sometimes up to 30+seconds.
