pilotpierre Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Wheres before I could plink 1 or 2 tanks (rarely three) with a full load of 73mm, now first time set to 300mm, 4 runs to knock out 3 tanks, second time 3 runs for 3 tanks so plenty left over to go hunting trains and vehicles. So good to see 2 hits per tank instead of one round either side of a tank.

VBF-12_Snake9 Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Yes the 190 has a purpose now! And that is to dewing bombers. This was much needed. I find ground pounding much better now. With the ju 87s 37mms the tanks don't stand a chance. I am somewhere around 400m convergence for tank busting. And I'm back to my trusty 200m for fighters.

Woul dbe nice to have shots spreading around like a shotgun Seriously I'm glad the Stuka is more usefull now with Panzerknacker configuration. Also curious about hwo it effects the 190. But I'm eagerly waiting for some dedicated servers to go online again to full y test it and find my prefferences

Rjel Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Set you convergence at any distance you want for 10 meters. It wouldn't matter regardless. The bullets would still be in nearly the same spread as when they left their barrels.

But the bigger thing for me, since I had to remap a few controls that got 'disappeared' this update, was to finally map trim controls! Oh, how sweet it is! I know I could have and should have done it earlier, but with the fairly frequent changes to controls that happened, especially in the earlier stages of Early Access, I got sick of remapping everything all the the time. But now we're pretty stable and almost everything is activated so it is great. I've really enjoyed the updates and seeing the game emerge step by step, but I must say that I am not a natural to this "Alpha access" thing. I'd do it again to support a project I think it worthwhile, like this one, but otherwise I'll just wait until it's done.
