I remember the release date guessing thread, and people were calling me pessimistic/rude because I said it was not going to be in Sept due to many things that needed to be fixed. Even if we find out next week, I am still guessing end of the year and maybe even into 2015. Well if they want everything correct, and if you consider the FMB part of the game.

A Sept-2014 launch date is still on their very front webpage.  I would doubt they would wait until now to announce a delay.  I expect the launch to be announced by Tue or perhaps a very short delay (a couple days or week).  Just my speculation.

 Expecting a release in September is day dreaming. October or November would be more like it as there is too much to do still, like campaign implementation, rewards/unlocks, FM/DM tweaks devs said they would run when all planes ready etc. So would not hold breath if waiting for September release. A few weeks slip ain't bad if you look at the pace BoS was done given the resources and all.

As long as it is before the Christmas buying season (3-5 weeks more) it should be fine. Would be nice, however, to have glowing reviews in all of the trade mags before then as well. To get into print probably means no later than the third week of October. To miss a late November/early December release would mean missing a huge financial opportunity.

 

Not worried about it either way. I only see a small delay and am quite enjoying it, as is, for the moment.
