Hectatus Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Slaw Device 109 pedals are fantastic! I'm very happy with mine, they are plug in and play and you should never have to configure them at all. They are my favorite part of my setup!
9./JG27golani79 Posted October 2, 2014 Author Posted October 2, 2014 Though I guess that at some point in the future I may fly with Crosswinds or Slaw pedals too I´ve orderd Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals for now. Thanks again to everyone for helping me out!
Sephyrius Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Has anyone been using racing pedals before switching to proper rudder pedals? I'm currently using G25 pedals with loosened springs, and while I get a fair bit of rubber-banding since they aren't meant to work in unison I reckon they've got good sensitivity and wondering whether it's worth investing in proper rudder pedals or stick with 'em.
LLv34_Flanker Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 S! Proper pedals will make a difference in controlling the plane, so I would suggest you get real flight pedals Sephyrius.
Rivet Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 One of the first batch of Crosswind pedals here and very happy with them and also the level of support from Milan. All round excellence.
9./JG27golani79 Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 So I got my combat pedals today to which I was looking forward to. They are working fine so far but there is an issue out of the box -.- The left toe brake doesn´t return to the zero position upon gentle release of the brake and the tension of the spring seems to be weaker than on the right side where the brake returns into the original position without any problems. I could set a deadzone though but the range isn´t that small and I think it could be well used for fine adjustments when breaking: Has anyone else experienced this problem or does anyone know if there is a fix without voiding the warranty? Or should I just send them back?
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) Very strange, even more so for a very new pair of pedals Mine are in use for more than 2 years now and I never had this issue. Instead of tinkering around (which isn't too easy, modded my pedals recently) I'd better make use of your waranty to get new ones. As far as I know once opened your waranty is vanished. Saitek is pretty straight forward with this. Edited October 7, 2014 by [Jg26]5tuka
9./JG27golani79 Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 Thanks for your reply - well I think I´ll send them back for a pair of replacements.

Definitely send them back and get a new set, perhaps you can send them back to where you purchased rather than waiting on warranty from Saitek?
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Thanks for all the posts on the Crosswind. Those, along with other sources, helped make up my mind. I placed my order for a set. The only thing is that the toe breaks are part of an unlock in an sp campaign. (sorry, couldn't help myself)

Rivet Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I'm sure you'll be very happy with your Crosswinds. @ the toe brakes comment. With all that has happened recently, I half expected it to be true.
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Milan just sent a poll to current users regarding a grey/black as opposed to white/black scheme. There MAY be two versions to choose from in the future.

MadCatz didn´t have any spare parts nor replacement pedals so amazon sent me a pair of new ones - everything works as it should this time. Finally I can use pedals
