nicka117 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Hey guys, just bought an MSFF2 but it has a sticky trigger button. It just sticks in the on position when you depress it. For those of you that have taken yours apart, is there an easy way to fix it? It works well except for that.
VR-DriftaholiC Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Prob just take it apart and clean it.
Sokol1 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) If clean dont fix, replace the micro switch under trigger cover. The original is Omron, part numbert in this topic, but a similar tactile micro switch should work: Quote The switches used (In MS Force Feedback) are Omron 150g actuation tactile jobs. They are available from Digi-Key. The ones for the hat are Digi-Key part number SW408-ND (Omron # B3F3122) and are $0.36 each (4 required). The switches for the stick buttons other than the trigger are Digi-Key part number SW401-ND (Omron # B3F1002) and are $0.26 each (3 required). The trigger switch is Digi-Key part number SW426-ND (Omron B3M6009) and are $0.71 each (1 required). http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showpost.php?p=233057&postcount=51 Alternative: http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/1790-there-any-better-joystick-ms-sidewinder-force-feedback-2/?do=findComment&comment=46228 http://il2.kubannet.ru/forum/attachment.php?s=a759a467e9348f80d747e518c3e1ff71&attachmentid=31831&d=1280786942 Edited August 2, 2020 by Sokol1
