Yakmaster Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 (edited) Would you pay lets say 5-20$ more on price of this game just to have all your equipment/skin unlocks unlocked (100 skins and 50 equipment add ons)? I would if price is good Edited September 23, 2014 by Yakmaster
-NW-ChiefRedCloud Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I had thought that was the original idea of the STORE. To offer things for purchase that you could also EARN. Am I mistaken? Or perhaps something has changed? Chief
=LD=Hethwill Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 No. Simply because I like the idea of guiding myself through the "historical" campaign. Unlocks is just a bonus.
BraveSirRobin Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I would gladly pay to be able to avoid the SP campaign.
HagarTheHorrible Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I think I already have ? As a Premium founder I don't think I have to unlock the 190 or La5, or at least I think that's how it works, so in essence I have already paid extra for unlocks. 1
Matt Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 In its current situation, i would not pay for unlocks. If things change in the future (release of FMB, custom graphic options etc. to name a few), i would be willing to pay for the mod unlocks. I'm personally not interested in the skins, because everyone will fly around with them in MP at some point and basically serve as "ace" skins. But i don't even see how you can for instance enjoy a He 111 SP carreer without having most of the bomb loadouts avaliable in the first place. 1

You still have to unlock loadouts, weapon mods, and skins.

Or perhaps something has changed? Chief Waaaaaarrrrr Thunnnnnderrrrr! No! It's bad enough having to grind to unlock stuff without the thought that they might purposely make the grinding such a tedious chore that you'd actually want to pay real money to avoid it! This is the kind of crap that is ruining gaming on all platforms. Monetise everything = screw the gamer. Pretty soon you might end up needing a force-feedback mouse. Just my two cents.

Rivet Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Certainly not. I would not pay to avoid something that i.m.o. should not be in a combat flight "simulation" in the first place.
Roast Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I rather see a skin 'store' where skins, either official or 3rd Party, which are first approved by 777/1C for quality and accuracy, can be downloaded, either for free or for an attractive price
1CGS LukeFF Posted September 24, 2014 1CGS Posted September 24, 2014 Comparing the OP's suggestion to WarThunder's business model isn't exactly trolling though is it? Granted, he could have expressed his opinion more eloquently but I think most would have got the gist of what he was implying. Implying that BoS is eventually going to be playable only with a mouse is patently ridiculous and adds nothing to topic being discussed.

39bn_pavig Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 If anyone is keen to pay to unlock the SP content, then perhaps they could hire some neighbourhood kid. It's gotta beat mowing lawns for pocket money. 1
Jaws2002 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) bollocks. Thisx2. Edited September 24, 2014 by Jaws2002 1
Jason_Williams Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 This is not our intention. We want people to play the game to earn the unlocks. Jason 3
