Vaxxtx Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Can anyone help me out here? If you are so inclined...... 1. Grab Req's TrackIR profile from the sticky on this page. 2. Load up BoS and grab a quick missions using the BF109 F4. 3. Look up. Can you look 90 degrees strait up? I sure cant. Anyone know why?
Praetor Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 It might be how you center your head. Look down just a tad before centering it. You might be running out of room, or your actual track IR might be positioned on too high of a negative pitch.

Could you look strait up without it locking at about 70 dgrees?
39bn_pavig Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Sometimes when trackIR is screwy I turn on the "camera" view in the TrackIR software and see if I get all green dots with full motion. If the dots are off center, or cross over each other during movement then I know I need to adjust either the camera or trackClip to get best response. (Then recenter via hotkey.) Also check your "speed" (and smooth) slider in TIR to see if it is at the recommended settings. Also, try out different profiles to see if one suits you better.

I have used TrackIR/FreeTrack/TrackNoir/FaceTrack for years. This is not a setting issue. Did you do what I asuggested with different results? If so let me know.
Vaxxtx Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 Requiem's profile works fine for me. I can look straight up without any limitation. And that is in the 109F4? You can look strait up? Why does it stop at about 70 degrees to me then? Any ideas?
Emgy Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 (edited) ^If this fails: Is there some kind of EZCA/EZDOK setting in the trackir software? Because the same 70 degree limitation occurs in Opentrack, if one does not use an EZCA setting in the protocol options. Edited September 21, 2014 by Calvamos
Emgy Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Yes but for some strange reason, disabling the EZCA protocol option in Opentrack results in what Vaxxtx described.
