[TWB]Pand Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) Post your craziest in game flight/fight videos of your experiences in BoS! I'll kick it off from a video from tonight: Move like a canopy, sting like a yak! Salute and good hunting! Edited September 20, 2014 by [TWB]Pand 3
A_S Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 LOL @ wingtocanopy PS: I hate and refuse to use ZoomFOV in sims, but it shows clearly how well aiming works with it, doesn´t it?
Y-29.Silky Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 That is priceless, I wonder if something like that will be enough to kill the pilot.
[TWB]Pand Posted September 21, 2014 Author Posted September 21, 2014 You have to use zoom since we don't have full view aspect like we do IRL. It's a hassle but a necessity. Anyone else have some crazy awesome vids to share? 1
A_S Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 (edited) You have to use zoom since we don't have full view aspect like we do IRL.? Never did...never needed (you can see in all of my vidoes). I am able to maintain SA wihout it. We can find many excuses to legitimate the use of FOV-zoom, but keep also in mind, that the zoom values are often much higher than the real vision would be, as it is often exaggerated as game feature in games or sims. I haven´t seen a pilot in real yet, flying with a "hubble telescope" in his face Although for ID-ing planes in a complex air-battle i can agree, that a natural amount of FOV-zoom is acceptable. Also, don´t forget, that such features are often exploited and misused .. (freezing TrackIR view and max ZOOM to hit planes from ridicilous ranges ie.). Edited September 21, 2014 by A-S
