II./JG53Lutzow_z06z33 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Sadly all the new Nvidia drivers break P3DV2 so I can't update. I wish Nvidia would fix the problem cuz right now I'm running 337.88 still.
E69_Luke Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Tested IL-2 default profile and works great!! Before, I had some strange banding in the sky using default profile, and I had to solve the problems tweaking it, and now all is ok. Also, Prepar3D v2.3 is working perfectly, without blue triangles. Tnx Nvidia!
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Is there (new drivers) SLI support for BOS ?
SR-F_Winger Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Is there (new drivers) SLI support for BOS ? in pdf is stated yes. Currently testing...

161SQNGoldleader Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Has anyone with Triple screens been able to test this yet? at work till late
ST_ami7b5 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I have installed the driver but I can't find BoS in Games list...
6high Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I have installed the driver but I can't find BoS in Games list... Same here...
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) Warning for all new Nvidia driver users! After installing the new driver I coudln't launch BoS anymore due to strange issues with corrupted dll files. I had to replace the dll in BoS folder with the one from my system folder to get it working again. Yet I'm still getting this error when using SweetFX 1.51 everytime I launch the game, though it at least runs. If you're using SweetFX be sure to disable it afterwards or don't update at all. I couldn't notice any performance boost whatsoever with my GTX 660 so I'll probably revert it in the end. Edited September 19, 2014 by [Jg26]5tuka
SYN_Mike77 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I can't find BoS in the list of supported games either. Is there something we need to do to trigger it?
Soarfeat Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Hey LastRights, Thanks for the heads up !!!! Will install after work today. Have missed seeing you online--( I have not been able to fly as much in the evening due to real life stuff---oh well ) Hope to see you in the cyber skies soon -- Cheers--sf--
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Have not installed yet. Is there a 344.11 and SweetFX conflict as [JG26]Stuka seems to have?
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I try SLI support, i don't like cheap SweetFX
ST_ami7b5 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Have not installed yet. Is there a 344.11 and SweetFX conflict as [JG26]Stuka seems to have? I used FlightFX for quite a long time but stopped recently because of some shimmering in distance. Maxed all I could in 'standard' environment and I'm quite happy with it.
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) It says (roughtly) "The procedure starting point 'Direct3dcreate9Ex' has not been found inside the DLL 'd3d9.dll". First I had this with stock BoS as well, now (with explained workround) only when enabling SweetFX, 1.51. Maybe someone can reproduce this bug and give some clarification on what's going on... VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Roger that [Jg26]Stuka. I installed 344.11. BOS ran fine without SweetFX. When I activated SweetFX I received the error message. Deactivated SweetFX and all is well again. Looks like a shader conflict.
von_Greiff Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 ...here everything works! Installed it with nvidia expierience.
NastyDog Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 works fine fore me whit flight fx Installed it with nvidia expierience.
Dakpilot Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Manual clean driver instal,l both my vanilla install and SweetFX 1.5 install working fine Cheers Dakpilot
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 For anyone that has SweetFX 1.5 working could you please post your nVidia settings? My current settings are posted below though I have tried a number of variations without success. In game I am using Ultra preset and AA Off. For SweetFX no AA.nVidia - Manage 3D Settings:Ambient Occlusion - Not Supported for this applicationAnisotropic filtering - 16xAntialiasing - FXAA - OnAntialiasing - Gamma correction - OnAntialiasing - Mode - Enhance the application settingAntialiasing - Setting - 8x CSAAAntialiasing - Transparency - 4x SupersamplingCUDA - GPUs - AllMaximum pre-rendered frames - 3Multi-display/mixed GPU acceleration - Single display performance modePower management mode - AdaptiveShader Cache - OnTexture filtering - Anisotropic sample optimization - OffTexture filtering - Negative LOD bias - ClampTexture filtering - Quality - High QualityTexture filtering - Trilinear optimization - OnThreaded optimization - AutoTriple buffering - OnVertical sync - Use the 3D Application settingVirtual Reality pre-rendered frames - 1 I am also noticing that even at lower settings this driver does not seem as smooth in game as 340.12.
DD_Arthur Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Installed the drivers manually. I run SweetFX and get the error message too. However, if I click on the ok box four or five times it goes away and the game runs o.k. with SweetFX. Bit of a pain though. However, loaded the new Nvidia profile via Nvidia Inspector, disabled FlightFX and am running 4 x AA. Game looks and runs brilliantly on my 660ti so I'm going to start tweaking the Nvidia control panel settings.
VBF-12_Stick-95 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I reinstalled 340.52. Still get the error with SweetFX but can click through them and it works. I get much less stutter with 340.12 vs 344.11.

ST_ami7b5 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) Again, how do you guys deploy the 'new BoS profile'? Where is it? BoS doesn't appear among supported games in NVIDIA GeForce Experience... I did a clean install. Edited September 20, 2014 by ST_ami7b5
SCG_Tzigy Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 i think i have it! either clean driver install or remove old profile and add again! now there is new BOS icon! will report back later
ST_ami7b5 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) i think i have it! either clean driver install or remove old profile and add again! now there is new BOS icon! will report back later where? I have added BoS to game list in NVIDIA control panel and it has the BoS icon. Is this what you are talking about? Not the list of supported games in NVIDIA GeForce Experience? Still bit confused... Because in NVIDIA control panel BoS has every item set to 'use global settings' - nothing else. Edited September 20, 2014 by ST_ami7b5
Felix58 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Same here... ... and here! Even when I pointed the Preference locations directly at the 1C Games Studio directory. gtx660
1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 You olways can check if profile is there with nvidia inspektor tool. With this tool you can add more AA and SSGS, AF etc to the BOS who lack this settings in menu. (exept AA)

DD_Arthur Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Check this out ami7b5; http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:NVIDIA_Inspector#tab=Introduction Make sure to download latest version too. 1
SCG_Tzigy Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 i did not use the nvidia experience panel or inspector in the NCP, before the last driver update i did not have the icon, it appeared after i removed the profile and added it again (actually there are 2 now, one for the launcher, and one for the .exe file, its the exe file u point it to yes u could use whatever global settings u have - don't have to do anything else, SLI just started working, now adjust/tweak to your liking/frame rate 1
