Chuck_Owl Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3jH7NcZf7c Third episode of the Operation Uranus series for BoS. This multiplayer session was recorded the Syndicate Europe server. Stalingrad November 1942 With the Russian Red Army on the offensive, Stalingrad is about to become a coffin for the german Army Group South. Heeresgruppe Süd is surrounded by one million soldiers, 900 tanks, 13,000 artillery guns and 1500 aircraft. The only hope for the german 6th Army is a new offensive that may never come. That, and a handful of courageous pilots flying supplies day and night to "the Pocket". Requiem, Basher and Chuck jump into He-111 bombers loaded with food, fuel and medical supplies en route to the besieged Pitomnik airfield. After the recent russian raids on german-held airfields (see episode 1 and 2), missions have become increasingly difficult and risky for german bomber pilots. The Luftwaffe doesn't have enough fighters to keep them covered while trying to clear the skies to keep the Air-Bridge up and running. The mission is a dangerous one; every second, we could get bounced and shot down while flying a dangerous course over enemy lines... which makes the 46-minute long flight pretty nerve-racking. In other words, we are without escort and completely vulnerable, which is a bomber pilot's nightmare. Will we reach Pitomnik in one piece or will we meet a grizzly end? Stay tuned!
Chuck_Owl Posted September 18, 2014 Author Posted September 18, 2014 Thanks, ami! I had to re-upload because I mistakenly confused Army Group Center with Army Group South. Thankfully, someone was kind enough to remind me.
