FFB different for different planes?

I recently got myself a second hand MS Sidewinder 2 FFB joystick. In Il-2: 1946 it seems to work as expected, as well as with Extreme_One's test program.

 

However, in game I don't seem to have any FFB indication for BF-109 G2 stalls, while I do get nice effect with He-111 (setting FFB strengths to 100% from the device menu). Have not systematically tested other planes yet.

 

Is this a feature, or lack of one due to FFB implementation still being a WIP? Or is it possibly a problem at my end?
