Uriah Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I just saw a news article on those air races. Often you see that Red Bull is the sponsor. This time they were racing in some stadium. They have done a lot of things to make it safer but the thought came to me that maybe the folks behind BoS could make a new game for air racing. It might be a nice addition to flight simming. 1

Elbows Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 While I'm sure there are plenty of flight simmers who would enjoy that - I'm not entirely sure why it's brought up here. Now, if 777 or someone were approached for a similar title, and some big Red Bull money ended up assisting in future developments for BoS/RoF...then I'd agree!
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) Actually, there was a dedicated server for air racing in '46. I visited a few times and had a bit of fun. There were also formation/airshow groups. All of this would be server side, though, not sponsored or dedicated at the producer level. Edited September 7, 2014 by HerrMurf
