Should Have Thought of This Before

I was reading an article on the IL2 and it mentioned they were sometimes used as bomber, transport and recon aircraft destroyers. With the 23mm gun they caused havoc against unescorted aforemention a/c types.

 

I had'nt thought of doing this prior to reading the article, but using QMB over Stalingrad with 1 IL2 against however many HE111's and Stukas is quite a buzz, especially with the new tracer effects. The 23mm gun really does cause havoc and provided some DM (a/c disintergrations both instantaneous and delayed) effects I have'nt seen in the past.
