skunkling Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 So I started playing Falcon about 4 years ago. Had to stop due to RL. Found time to fly again. Found War Thunder... Realized how broken it is and moved on to BoS. I have talked to my "wing" =SIM= about the move to BoS and the general attitude was "we are moving....?" even though they are aware of all the problems WT has. Anyways, a short story shorter I am looking for a decent sized wing. I'm not a total noob, I can fly formation, land, takeoff, ground attack and can get kills in a furball. Biggest challenge is just learning the feel of the game, and ranges involved with spotting ACFT and GRND equipment. I'm 30, got 4 kids, a wife, and a full time (usually with OT) job as an aircraft mechanic. I fly a few hours per day though and got the whole deal. HOTAS cougar, TIR, some MFDs, obviously TS, and a high performance gaming laptop. For lack of a better phrase, I'm ready to fly with a mature group that goofs off as much as they are serious. I love flying with a coordinated flight comprised of ground attackers, escorts, bombers etc. The more in-depth a mission is the better. Be it that BoS is still in Dev. the furball alone is good enough for now Just looking for some good pilots to fly and laugh with. I primarly fly the US Eagles Nest server (x-pert) since it is the most populated. Let me know.Who's six will I see you on?

Besides, who is really the underdog?
Chuck_Owl Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Put a LaGG, a Yak or a La-5 against a 109 and you'll have your answer.
SCG_Space_Ghost Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Put a LaGG, a Yak or a La-5 against a 109 and you'll have your answer. There are some VVS pilots I would never fly against. Nonetheless, S~
DD_Reggie Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Bunny, do you guys fly Axis or VVS? Praetor, we have been flying as RAF for many years - to break things up again and keep CLOD fresh after a few months of Battle of Britain, we are now flying a Battle of France Campaign as Axis as many of us fancied a break from Spits and Hurris all the time The honest answer to your question is - we haven't quite decided how we will move forward with the BOS release, we have decided 100% that we will move to BOS, the discussion of what to fly will come towards the end of our current campaign. These discussions are always had among Top Brass (Commanding Officers) of the group, options are then agreed and put forward to the Tangmere Pilots as a whole, usually via a poll. This helps us ensure that we are always moving in the direction that our members want to move in. Sorry I can't be more specific. I have been a member of TP of nearly 13 years now, it is a fantastic group of fantastic people, we have fantastic skinners, expert mission designers, some of who have been involved in providing aircraft models, campaigns and other things for IL2, CLOD and ROF, whatever we fly I can guarantee our campaigns will be second to none and any who join us will have a fantastic time.
Lusekofte Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 http://www.lehrgeschwader1.net We fly Luftwaffe, CLOD early core pilots that now are testing out BOS, Dedicated servers have made this possible. Personally I like the Russian planes best , so not flying with the unit I fly Russian, in uniform with the Luftwaffe. We sure be happy if you want to check us up
DeafBee Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 (edited) Also consider our 19te Squadron. We fly a lot on the Eagle Nest server, See more information on our new website: http://19tesqaudron.weebly.com/ Edited October 3, 2014 by 19te.Deafbee
